Located along the Lewis and Clark trail in the heart of hunting and fishing country, East Fork House is situated just a single haul from the banks of the East Fork of the Bitterroot River. Whether you choose to hike the nearby mountain trails filled with wildlife, go fly fishing just out the back door, take a jacuzzi with a glass of wine on the back deck with a view of the mountains and the river or take a nap in the hammock with the river lulling you to sleep, your Montana Vacation will be complete with a stay at East Fork House.

Welcome to Big Sky Bed and Breakfast and the Bitterroot Valley! We`re located on ten acres with an unobstructed view of the Bitterroot (Rockies of Montana) and Sapphire Mountains, under what seems to be an endless vibrant blue sky, overlooking the town of Hamilton,Montana, eighty miles north of Salmon, Idaho or just fifty miles south of Missoula, Montana.

The Inn is full of comfort and hospitality. Relax in the beautiful living room (pictured left), enjoy a fine breakfast around the dining room table, and chat with Linda and Tim around the Kitchen while they prepare wonderful treats! Beverages and snacks are served shortly after your arrival, but breakfast is our time to shine - we serve a variety of old-fashioned favorites all specially prepared for you and served in our inviting dining room. Entrees could vary from fresh baked breads/pastries, homemade cereals, or egg/meat dishes. With advanced notice, we will always work to accommodate special dietary needs or preferences.

The Bitterroot River Bed & Breakfast is located within the town of Stevensville, in Montana`s scenic Bitterroot Valley. Our Bed and Breakfast overlooks the river and is at the base of the Bitterroot Mountains. We offer a tranquil country-style setting with river front access, combined with the convenience of being located within a small town. The B&B is within walking distance of main street Stevensville, which offers art galleries, a museum, antique shops, groceries, restaurants and other unique shopping opportunities.

Tim and Shelley Hunter have lived and worked in the area for over 25 years. The B&B is decorated throughout with original paintings by Shelley, an accomplished artist. They are readily available to answer questions, make restaurant or activity recommendations and to meet your needs. Their extensive knowledge of the area, their willingness to share it with you and their warm old fashioned Montana hospitality will insure that your visit will be an unforgettable experience.
